Fabulous antique Victorian era sterling silver trinket box in the shape of a double bass (?) musical instrument.  Marked
Sterling
and
Germany
on the back side bottom.  The hinge is located at the top of the instrument.  The strings are represented by wire that is wrapped around the top portion.  Beautiful detailed design.  The two pieces fit inside each other without issue - not a tight fit - if you lifted the piece up by the arm the bottom half would open from the top.  The piece weighs a total of
