    Description

This is a fantastic rare Royal Presentation photo of HRH Prince Charles marking his investiture as Prince of Wales in 1969 at the age of twenty-one. Each member of the event's planning committee received one of these framed photographs as a token of gratitude.
The investiture took place on July 1, 1969 at Caernarfon Castle in Wales. This was recently portrayed in Netflix's series "The Crown" in season three.
Presented in a green morrocan leather frame surmounted with a gold gilt heraldic badge of ostrich feathers and gold coronet with the words "Ich Dien" which translates to "I serve".
A black and white real photograph has been mounted to a matte. It is ink signed on the matte below the photo "Charles July 5, 1969". Unfortunately, there has been some fading to the signature.  Photograph measures 4.75 inches high by 3.75 inches wide, with matte total size is 7.5 inches high by 6 inches wide. The Frame size is 9.75 inches high by 7 inches wide.
A very nice presentation piece of royalty memorabilia and a rare opportunity to own a piece of history.
