    Description

    Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver Box. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass., ca 1910. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged and flat with molded rim and scrolled tab. Acid-etched and engraved ornament: dense and dynamic scrollwork overlapping rectilinear frames. Cover top has shaped central cartouche (vacant). Fresh and gorgeous. Box interior wood lined. Cover interior gilt. Fully marked and numbered 110.
