Wash the oil pan and mounting surfaces with solvent

Remove all traces of oil.
The gasket must be installed

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! It causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.
Directions are included on the package label.
Do not soak in solvent or gasoline.
TO REUSE GASKET
:
Wash gasket briefly in hot soapy water
.
Rinse gasket and dry thoroughly.
Re-install using the above installation instructions.
DO NOT SOAK GASKETS IN SOLVENT OR GASOLINE.
