    I'm pleased to offer this
    ORIGINAL AFRICAN
    Ethnic Traditional
    PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT
    It measures about 11-1/2" tall X 8-1/2" long X 4-1/4" wide.
    This ceremonial "rattle / shaker" is made from a
    pair
    of dried gourds that are flush cut & joined together with a strip of animal hide (see images).
    A
    distinctive
    sound is created by loose stones within the hollow gourd bodies and (4) thin metal discs on a wire underneath (see images).
    Providing support and a sturdy handle is a "Y" shaped tree branch that has been stripped smooth of it's bark (see images)
