scalloped bowl, approximately 9 3/4" inches in diameter and 3 3/4" high.  Bowl was manufactured by J. & G. Meakin from
Hanley,
England

This bowl was used by my Grandparent's who raised nine children on their ranch in Amador County.  It is not in perfect condition, but for it's age and considering the use it received feeding a large family, my opinion is that it is in excellent used condition!  No chips or cracks observed; some discoloration as shown in the photos.
This is not a light-weight bowl.  Note:  There are marks that appear to be cracks on the bottom of this bowl however, I checked thoroughly and found them to be marks only.  China surface is smooth and without any "feel" of breakage.
