    Description

    Brought back as a gift for my consignor some years ago from a trip to Africa, though I haven't yet determined specifically where. While my consignor downsizes this decorative ax has come to me to find a new home. The long handle looks like bamboo as does the light colored wrapping and has some splits though it is intact. The stone is dark grey and backed inside the natural wrap with another stone for what I think must be stability. The woven area at the end of both parts, the stone and the handle is in excellent condition and is
    beautiful.
    The handle measures about 17 to where it meets the stone, woven and wrapped areas. The stone through to the woven end measures over 12 long and at the widest the stone is 3 3/8.
    This is heavy due to the thick stone. If shipping is less we will refund the extra promptly.
