10-Packs - NOS NPN Transistors
Hi all - clearing out a lot of these NPN BJT (Bipolar Junction) silicon transistors...all are NPN BJT and similar in function, but with various levels of forward gain and other attributes. These 2SC transistors were particularly popular in audio applications, including guitar amplifiers / effects / pedals, transistor radios, etc., but are also usable in all cases that call for an NPN BJT. All transistors are new or new old stock and have never been soldered/installed. Because these are new old stock,
we test all transistors before shipping
, so these are guaranteed-working. Please also note: transistors in the 2SC family often have different pinouts than the average 2N, so definitely look up the pinout before you install this in your next repair/project (this is probably obvious to most people, but it wasn't obvious to me a couple decades ago, so I figured I'd include it here!).
Transistors are all in TO-92 casing or similar/equivalent. Actual markings/appearances are obviously going to differ somewhat from transistor to transistor; length of legs differs slightly as well from manufacturer to manufacturer, but not by a very noticeable amount. Our batch of 2SC2240 contained some 2SC2240BL's, so those may come mixed in with the 2SC2240's if you purchase those - if this is an issue, just let us know and we will look carefully to ensure that you do not receive any BL-suffix transistors.
